This is one of my favorite cords for pearl knotting. The cord is initially stiff enough so that you don't need a needle to string your beads on. I like cutting the end with a single edge razor in a diagonal direction away from me to get a nice sharp end. This cord is heat bonded so it does not have any kind of wax or starch.
