This is a great choice when you want something special and unique. These tassel caps are a glue-in and I recommend E6000 glue. You can get E6000 at hardware stores as well as craft stores. Put plenty of glue in and push tassel in and make sure to push it in well. You can use anything thin and sharp. Wait 72 hours to let the glue dry.
